Medical Device Refurbishment & Diagnostics Technician

STERISIndianapolis, IN
Onsite

About The Position

As a Medical Device Refurbishment & Diagnostics Technician, you will rebuild, test, and certify medical equipment so it’s safe, reliable, and ready for use. You’ll work both solo and with teammates to hit customer deadlines and meet rigorous quality expectations—using hand tools, diagnostic instruments, and your electro-mechanical and hydraulic know-how. This is a fully onsite role, 5 days per week, at our Indianapolis, IN facility. You’ll also periodically support other production functions such as material handling and shipping/receiving. A typical day involves reviewing work instructions, prints, schematics, and technical manuals for the day’s queue. From there, you’ll tear down components, run diagnostics, and track issues to root cause. As assemblies come back together, you’ll calibrate, verify performance, and document each repair—signing off only when equipment meets spec and is certified ready for use.
