We are currently seeking a highly motivated Medical Device Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a range of medical devices to support hospitals, surgery centers, and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1-2+ years experience in medical device maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair a plus.
  • Comfortable with talking on the phone.
  • Strong mechanical and electronic diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and customer service oriented.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environments.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent vision is essential.
  • Must be able to work Monday to Friday, forty hours per week. Flex Schedule possibly available.
  • Candidate must have adequate transportation and be able to commute in winter weather conditions.
  • Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic testing, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment including infusion pumps, anesthesia machines, patient monitors, and other devices.
  • Conduct on-site installation and commissioning of medical devices at client locations.
  • Respond to service calls promptly and efficiently to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Document service activities, including test results, repairs performed, and parts used.
  • Collaborate with sales and technical staff to assess equipment condition and recommend repair or replacement options.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of medical device regulations, safety standards, and company procedures.
  • Order and maintain inventory of necessary parts and tools.
  • Provide training and technical support to end-users as required.
