About The Position

Work Schedule: 100% FTE, day shift role, Monday - Friday 7am - 3 pm Central. You will work remote. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and Medical Coding Education. In lieu of a medical coding education, an active coding certification is required.
  • Two years of progressive inpatient facility coding experience.
  • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).
  • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC).

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate of a Health Information Technology program.
  • Two or more years of inpatient facility coding experience in an Academic Medical Center and/or Level 1 Trauma Center.
  • Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC) AND Registered Health Information Technician (RH
