About The Position

Work Schedule: 100% FTE, day shift role, Monday - Friday 7am - 3 pm Central. You will work remote. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent and Medical Coding Education. In lieu of a medical coding education, an active coding certification is required.
Two years of progressive inpatient facility coding experience.
Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).

Nice To Haves

Graduate of a Health Information Technology program.
Two or more years of inpatient facility coding experience in an Academic Medical Center and/or Level 1 Trauma Center.
