Performs necessary functions to support various areas within hospital business office. Primary duties include support for patient registration, scheduling, and medical records. Pay starting at $16.50 per hour - based on experience Essential Functions: The position’s primary functions include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Uses computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, word processing, calendar, e-mail, and database software in performing work assignments. 2. Assist with entering and updating data, as well as monitoring, verifying, confirming and distributing final schedules. 3. Assist with patient registration and related data entry and account set up. 4. Assist with reviewing and calling on accounts receivable. 5. Assist with medical records and document management. 6. Assures customer satisfaction by resolving inquiries via phone, walk-in patients, mail correspondence and accurate account review. 7. Establishes and maintain good rapport and cooperative relationship with medical staff, co-workers, supervisors, outside physician offices, and others.
