As a Medical Business Associate (Receptionist), you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and their families, ensuring an exceptional experience of care, wellness, and healing. This role involves obtaining and verifying all required patient and insurance information, accurately entering it into the registration system, and scheduling patient appointments, including return office visits, referrals, diagnostic testing, and procedures. You will greet patients professionally in person and over the telephone, responding effectively to their needs.

Requirements

High school graduate or GED
A minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Medical Practice Business Associate or working in a similar healthcare role (for Specialist)
6 months to 1 year Customer Service experience required (for Associate)
Previously working with the public with minimal supervision (for Associate)
Proficient in typing, Windows, and experience with multiple computer systems

Nice To Haves

Associate Degree Preferred (for Specialist)

Responsibilities

Be the first point of contact for patients and their families
