About The Position

Northbridge University: We are looking for a Medical Billing & Coding Adjunct Instructor (Remote). Our Medical Assistant Technician Diploma Program is designed to prepare students to obtain entry-level employment as medical assistant technicians. This program provides students with the opportunity to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills, both in the classroom and through supervised clinical practice or a capstone experience. The students learn how to prepare patients for various technical examinations, such as EKGs and phlebotomy, as well as how to perform several such procedures.

Requirements

Minimum of a High School Diploma required. An associate's degree in a health care field is preferred.
Completed Diploma in Medical Billing and Coding, or Insurance.
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Certificate.
Completed a post-secondary training as a Medical Assistant, and three years of work experience at a minimum.
