This role is ideal for a knowledgeable professional who enjoys mentoring students and delivering engaging, career-focused education. No teaching experience? No problem we provide training!
Requirements
- Certification in Medical Coding and/or Billing or related healthcare credential
- 35 years of medical coding and billing experience
- Knowledge of EHR and billing software systems
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
- Teaching experience not required training provided
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Teach core courses in the Medical Coding and Billing program
- Deliver engaging instruction in classroom, lab, and online settings
- Utilize EHR and billing software systems as part of instruction
- Mentor and support students to promote retention, certification readiness, and externship success
- Create and maintain a positive, professional learning environment
