LOCATION: 250 Miller Place, Hicksville, NY 11801 HOURS: 7:00am/8:00am - 3:30pm/4:30pm; Monday to Friday Hybrid: 2 days in the office; once fully trained FULL TIME: Benefits Eligible In this role you will: Post ERA, paper remits and reconcile deposits to postings for all insurance carriers Review EOB’s and/or insurance correspondences in order to process or forward claims to the denials team Enter all incoming payments for patient accounts from various sources including live checks, daily cash and ERA Identify and communicate discrepancies in payments received Maintain a documentation of cash transactions and perform a reconciliation of prior day’s daily deposits Research unidentified payments for proper posting, work NSF/returns after obtaining proper documentation Update patient accounts to reflect adjustments made Re-bill claims as needed All you need is: High School Diploma or equivalent Medical Billing Certification, a plus Coding Certification, a plus Laboratory experience, a plus Strong computer skills with proficiency or knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word At least two years experience in Medical Billing, Cash Posting, preferred Salary range is $18.00 - 22.00. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. Sonic Healthcare USA, reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
