We are seeking a Medical Biller to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in medical billing, insurance, and customer service, ideally with a passion for women’s health and fertility care.

Requirements

High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
1-2 years of healthcare insurance and customer service experience.
Knowledge of medical terminology and proficiency in CPT and ICD-9 coding.
Experience with medical software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Manage pre-certification and surgical scheduling for the assigned team physician.
Communicate financial clearance between nursing staff and physicians via Athena and Resource systems.
Enter charges for IVF cycles, monitor patient accounts, and follow up on balances.
Respond to patient inquiries regarding insurance, billing, and financial responsibilities.
Process refunds, adjustments, and collection activities as needed.
Prepare daily reports and handle bank deposits.
Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain patient confidentiality.
