About The Position

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Medical Biller to manage the full billing cycle, ensure accurate claim submission, and support timely reimbursement for our client. The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of medical billing processes, insurance guidelines, and denial management. This role is essential in maintaining healthy revenue flow and a positive patient financial experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit clean claims to insurance companies (paper and electronic) in a timely manner.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and ensure correct billing information is on file.
• Monitor claim status, follow up on unpaid or denied claims, and correct/resubmit as necessary.
• Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs) for accuracy and identify payment discrepancies.
• Work with coding staff, providers, and payers to resolve billing issues or documentation inconsistencies.
• Process patient statements, set up payment plans, and assist with patient billing inquiries.
• Post insurance and patient payments as needed, ensuring correct account allocation.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient financial and health information in compliance with HIPAA.
• Stay current with insurance policies, carrier updates, and regulatory changes impacting billing.
