Requirements

  • Valid Medical Assistant certification.
  • Proven experience in front office duties, including knowledge of insurance and verification of benefits (VOB).
  • Proficiency in EKG, phlebotomy, and clinical documentation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and colleagues.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior training or experience in exercise is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform essential clinical tasks such as taking patient vitals, conducting EKGs, and performing phlebotomy with precision and care.
  • Administer intramuscular (IM) injections and prepare laboratory order forms.
  • Retrieve and review patient lab results to support seamless care.
  • Assist physicians or mid-level practitioners with patient referrals to other healthcare professionals.
  • Document patient progress in charts and/or EMR systems with accuracy.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to monitor patient progress and provide empathetic support.
  • Take on additional clinical responsibilities as needed to ensure top-tier patient care.
  • Manage a multi-line phone system, efficiently routing calls and addressing inquiries.
  • Deliver exceptional patient service by greeting patients warmly and maintaining a welcoming, professional environment.
  • Support clinic operations by monitoring inventory levels for clinical and office supplies.
  • Perform daily scanning and uploading of patient documents to maintain organized records.
  • Train colleagues on daily procedures as directed by the office manager or physician.
  • Contribute to clinic marketing initiatives to drive profitability and promote our mission.
