Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
- Previous experience in a medical environment is desirable.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures, particularly in dermatology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and standard office software.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history.
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are available.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Schedule patient appointments and handle office communications efficiently.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and skincare practices.
- Ensure that examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
