Requirements
- High School diploma required and a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Basic computer literacy required.
- CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with homeless individuals with histories of mental illness and/or substance abuse preferred.
- Vaccination preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Reception of clients, notifying clients of appointments, retrieving clients from the waiting room for the RN or MD.
- Assembling charts, filing in charts, uploading documents to charts, faxing documents, and other clerical functions.
- Measuring vital signs, assisting an authorized practitioner, under the direct and personal supervision of said practitioner, to carry out a specific task, as a "second set of hands.
- Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed.
- Related duties as assigned.
