About The Position

A confidential pediatric practice is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join a high -energy, team -based environment. This float position supports multiple clinic sites in Raleigh.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (science degree preferred).
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred.
• MediClear certification or equivalent required
• Working knowledge of pediatric vaccination protocols.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and clinical workflow.

Responsibilities

• Support daily clinical operations and assist providers with patient care.
• Accurately document patient encounters in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Perform routine assessments (height, weight, vision, hearing).
• Administer pediatric vaccinations and document per protocol.
• Collect lab samples (including venipuncture) and conduct in -house testing (strep, mono, RSV).
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, CLIA, and internal quality standards.
• Participate in team meetings and maintain professional communication with families and staff.
