About The Position

As a Medical Assistant, you’ll provide hands-on support to patients and providers—ensuring smooth clinical operations, compassionate care, and a positive experience for every individual who walks through our doors. From triage and clinical prep to patient support and occasional front desk assistance, you’ll be an essential member of our care team, helping us keep our promise to Put Patients First.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–3 years of direct patient care experience
  • Strong computer and multitasking skills
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities
  • Commitment to healthcare safety regulations and patient dignity

Nice To Haves

  • CNA or MA certification strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet and escort patients from the waiting room to treatment areas
  • Perform triage duties, including taking vital signs and documenting chief complaints
  • Obtain and accurately record medical, social, family histories, medications, and allergies
  • Enter patient data into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) while maintaining HIPAA compliance
  • Assist providers during exams, procedures, physicals, splinting, and other treatments within the scope of practice
  • Discharge patients and provide instructions as directed by the care team
  • Perform CLIA-waived testing and follow manufacturer protocols precisely
  • Collect, label, process, and prepare specimens for testing
  • Assist with drug screens, blood alcohol testing, spirometry, and related clinical services
  • Maintain accurate logs, equipment records, and quality control documentation
  • Support telehealth triage and workflows as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
  • Step in to support front desk or clinic needs when required
