Open 7 days a week, no appointment necessary with a lab and x-ray on-site. Requirements

  • 3+ Years of experience
  • Must be certified or registered as a Medical Assistant
  • Dependable, ability to work all assigned shifts
  • Flexibility in scheduling is a must
  • Experience in patient triaging, performing injections, EKG’s and phlebotomy
  • Proficient in point of care testing, strep, influenza, mono, urine pregnancy, urinalysis, COVID-19.
  • Friendly, Professional and a positive attitude
  • Considerate making each patient feel welcomed and special
  • Proficient in both verbal and written communication, possessing a clear, professional and positive demeanor.
  • Team player
  • Ability to Multitask
  • Must be able to work weekday shifts: 8am – 8pm and weekend availability: 8am – 5pm

Responsibilities

  • Laboratory quality controls
  • Dispensing medications, other treatments
  • Assisting the physicians with procedures as needed
  • Patient call backs
  • Preforming employer services(drug and alcohol testing, respirator fit testing, pulmonary function tests and more)
  • Patient Registration
  • Phone answering
