About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Medical Assistant to support healthcare providers by performing clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced medical office. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality patient care while maintaining efficiency and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (preferred)
• Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent preferred)
• CPR/BLS certification
• Basic computer and EHR experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Take and document vital signs, height, and weight
• Record patient medical history and chief complaints
• Assist providers during exams and minor procedures
• Administer medications and immunizations as directed
• Perform basic lab procedures and specimen collection
• Clean, stock, and maintain exam rooms and equipment
• Check patients in and out
• Schedule appointments, referrals, and follow-ups
• Verify insurance and patient information
• Maintain accurate records in EHR systems
• Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA guidelines
