About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Washer is to carry out daily cleaning operations for vans, trucks, trailers, and other company vehicles—both inside and out. This role ensures each vehicle is consistently maintained to a high standard of cleanliness: operational, spotless, dry, and visually presentable.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent job experience.
Strong communication skills.
Strong knowledge of the English language.
Must engage work with a high sense of urgency.
Must be able to work outdoors and standing on feet for long periods.
Must be able to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
Must be reliable and be flexible in schedule.
Work cohesively with all levels of management, all departments and co-workers as part of a team.
Ability to use senses to ensure quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

Clean the inside of the trailer and restroom units (sweeping, mopping the floors, and cleaning the carpets).
Clean all surfaces including the counters, wall, and ceiling.
Assist in dumping the holding tanks as needed.
Assist in restocking and suppling paper towels, toilet paper, soap (dispensary) as needed.
Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using appropriate cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
Follow check in/out process.
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent self-injury or damage to floors and fixtures.
Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or any equipment malfunction.
Keep the entire property spotlessly clean and ensure everything is kept in its proper place and organized.
Meet with supervisor to review information pertinent to the job performance, such as daily assignments, business levels, pending projects, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
