Medical Assistants are an important part of the care team who work closely with our licensed practitioners to provide care to our patients. This role is responsible for administrative and clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, and assisting physicians with exams. HOME CLINIC: Open positions are located at various clinics located North, Valley, & Downtown Spokane. (including: Orthopedics, & Sport medicine). We will discuss current open positions and your preferences during the interview. This position represents both full-time and part-time openings. You will have the ability to discuss during an interview. The job utilizes a combination of skills including: Clerical computer and phone skills Customer service/people skills Medical terminology Hands on clinical skills Typical job skills include: Taking vital signs like pulse and blood pressure Updating medications, allergies and other information in patient’s medical records Performing some medical procedures, specimen collection and lab testing This is a combined posting for Associate Medical Assistant, Medical Assistant Registered and Medical Assistant. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. Consideration for each role will be based on qualifications. Requirements

  • Clerical computer and phone skills
  • Customer service/people skills
  • Medical terminology
  • Hands on clinical skills
  • Washington Medical Assistant Certification
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
  • Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months)
  • Washington Medical Assistant Registration within 60 days of hire.
  • 6 months of healthcare experience
  • 6 months of Medical Assistant experience
  • Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for the WA State Certification exam
