This role is responsible for administrative and clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, and assisting physicians with exams. HOME CLINIC: Open positions are located at various clinics across Multiple clinics (Including: Ear Nose & Throat, Gastroenterology, Sleep Medicine, Neurosurgery, Occupational Medicine, Rheumatology, Kidney Care, Vascular Vein, Pulmonology, Liver and Pancreas). We will discuss current open positions and your preferences during the interview. The job utilizes a combination of skills including: Clerical computer and phone skills Customer service/people skills Medical terminology Hands on clinical skills Typical job skills include: Taking vital signs like pulse and blood pressure Updating medications, allergies and other information in patient’s medical records Performing some medical procedures, specimen collection and lab testing This is a combined posting for Associate Medical Assistant, Medical Assistant Registered and Medical Assistant. - Associate Medical Assistant Required Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants or Coursework/Training: Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program or Coursework/Training: Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces or Coursework/Training: Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration or Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months)
- Medical Assistant Registered: Required Qualifications: Washington Medical Assistant Registration within 60 days of hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. 6 months of healthcare experience. 6 months of Medical Assistant experience.
- Medical Assistant Required qualifications: Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants or Coursework/Training: Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program or Coursework/Training: Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces or Coursework/Training: Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration or Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. 6 months Healthcare experience 6 months Medical Assistant experience

- Associate Medical Assistant Preferred Qualifications: 6 months prior experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment. 6 months previous experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health record (EHR).
- Medical Assistant Registered Preferred Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Medical Assistant, Medical Office Assistant, Medical Secretary or Health Unit Coordinator/Clerk
