About The Position

Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Medical Assistant for SMG Clinical Administration. All qualified candidates can receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus! Perform patient care related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluation, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Perform administrative duties, as appropriate.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Active CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic (Required)
BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
One year of clinical or administrative experience

Nice To Haves

One year experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Responsibilities
