About The Position

e7 Health is a preventative health and wellness company with two locations in Las Vegas, one in the Northwest (Lake Mead and Rainbow) and one in the Southeast (Windmill and Bermuda). We are looking for Medical Assistants who are looking for a long-term career in the healthcare industry, handling both front and back office duties on our fast-paced and energetic offices. Our working hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm (no nights - no weekends!) Requirements

  • Current Medical Assistant (MA) certificate in the state of Nevada
  • Current CPR card (We provide BLS class for new and expiring cards)
  • Exceptional telephone skills including script memorization and implementation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to maintain professionalism and customer focus in a stressful and fast-paced environment
  • Able to multi-task while ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies and procedures
  • Must be able to type a minimum of 35 WPM (All candidates will be required to complete a typing test if chosen for an interview).
  • Current driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle at all times

Responsibilities

  • Check-in patients and prepare charts
  • Process patient payments
  • Screen and educate patients prior to vaccination
  • Administer vaccines
  • Administer and read TB skin tests
  • Draw blood for testing
  • Prepare rooms for patients
  • Take and record vital signs
  • Conduct EKG
  • Communicate with medical and office staff
  • Answer phone calls
  • Complete administrative duties as needed
