About The Position

Performs all pre-examination testing with accuracy and attention to detail, visual acuity, depth perception, pressures, color vision, and more.
Knowledge of basic ocular medical terminology and abbreviations
Ability to complete patient work including but not limited to auto-refraction and Visual Fields.
Maintain complete and accurate patient records by gathering medical history information.
Maintain a professional atmosphere and appearance of the doctor’s exam lane and pre-test equipment.
Scribe for an optometrist
Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Must be available to work; day, evening, and two Sunday shifts a month.
• High School Diploma, General Education Diploma (GED), or equivalent related job experience
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer skills are required.
• This position requires a team player.

Nice To Haves

• EMR experience
• Scribe experienced.
• Optometric tech experience
