About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care, performing various clinical and administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth operations in the medical office.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a medical assistant training program
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
Nice To Haves
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
- Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and other patient information
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
- Handle patient inquiries and provide education on healthcare issues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating patient referrals
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and protocols
