Medical Assistant - AIM Clinic - Day Flex Provide compassionate patient focus and superior customer service -keeping our fast-paced environments running smoothly. Coordinate appointments and perform general clerical duties at the unit nursing station to assure the timely, efficient and accurate flow of patient information. Assist practitioners and Management by performing blood draws and taking vital signs of patients in clinic. Welcome and direct visitors and hospital colleagues to appropriate areas. Cultivate a courteous and respectful demeanor while multitasking between people and responsibilities. This full time position will require working: Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM and Tuesday and Thursday 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM, No weekends or holidays. Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. Requirements
- Graduate of a State and/or Nationally accredited Medical Assistant Program
- High School Diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Internal Medicine and Specialty in an outpatient setting or experience with family practice in an outpatient setting
- Bilingual English/Spanish
