About The Position

Join the Internal Medicine team as a Medical Assistant at Salmon Creek! $2,500 Hire Bonus Available Responsibilities include rooming patients, collecting patient information, preparing patients for examination, assist with overall delivery of patient care, and receive additional hands-on training to work at top of scope. EMT and CNA welcome to apply. Expectation to receive onsite training and obtain WA State MA-R credential Pay range starts at $20.09/hour, actual rate commensurate with experience and licensure/certifications. Schedule is Monday through Friday or Monday through Thursday, 40 hours/week. Vancouver Clinic provides care across a wide range of medical decisions. This includes care and opinions on vaccinations, reproductive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender affirming treatment. PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Required completion of one of the following: Combination of experience and training resulting in a nationally recognized MA certification or completion of a formal MA program or formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces or EMT training and certification or current Washington State Nursing Assistant-Certification.
  • Must obtain Washington State Medical Assistant credential within required timeframe and maintain in active status throughout employment.
  • Current healthcare provider BLS required
  • Experience with an electronic health record, Epic experience strongly preferred
