About The Position

Colorado Physician Partners is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join their team. This role involves collaborating with Clinical services staff to provide outstanding patient services, while maintaining a positive and flexible attitude. The Medical Assistant will contribute to creating a welcoming environment that promotes patient comfort and trust.

Requirements

• Excellent ability to take medical histories, understand instructions, and document information accurately
• High degree of diplomacy and tact
• Beginner to intermediate computing and phone skills
• Willingness to adapt to various job duties and cross-train within other departments
• Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Knowledge of “Universal Precautions” and adherence to HIPAA standards
• High school diploma or GED required
• Current, valid CPR certification

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in English/Spanish or other languages is a plus
• Valid State Driver’s License preferred
• Current, valid Certification of Medical Assistant, preferred

Responsibilities

• Review and update patient records before face-to-face or Telehealth appointments, ensuring all recent test results and correspondence are up-to-date
• Clean and stock exam rooms between patient visits, adhering to infection control standards
• Prepare patients for their visit and notify the physician or mid-level provider when they are ready to be seen
• Greet patients, take vital signs, and document basic medical history accurately
• Support physicians or mid-level providers during patient examinations
• Restock supplies, check inventory, and keep all areas clean and orderly
