About The Position
Hiring Bonus! We're so looking forward to working with you that we're offering up to a $1,000 hiring bonus for full time Medical Assistants. Office Location: Associates Internal Medicine Beaver is looking for a skilled Medical Assistant who can work with our providers and clinical team to provide compassionate care to our patients. Come join us! (1211 Third Street Beaver, PA). Work Hours: Monday-Friday daylight varies between 7-5pm, no weekends, no major holidays.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- CPR Certification.
- Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
- Computer experience.
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant diploma or degree program.
- Minimum of one year medical assisting experience.
- Proficient in venipuncture.
Responsibilities
- Collects vital signs and patient history
- Collects specimens and performs basic laboratory tests
- Administers injections and medications as directed by provider in addition to other clinical tasks
- Ordering supplies
- Updating/maintaining medical records
- Obtaining referrals/authorizations
- Scheduling appointments
