About The Position
University Cancer and Blood Center is hiring for a Part-Time Medical Assistant for our Athens location, for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Requirements
- Must be a Certified Medical Assistant
- Previous medical experience preferred.
- Must have the ability to work individually and as a team.
- A positive attitude is a must!
Responsibilities
- Call each patient back for assigned provider
- Obtain full vitals on patients
- Draw all lab work ordered by provider.
- Finger stick, venipuncture, etc.
- Room patients or escort to treatment area.
- Clean and stock exam rooms and lab area
- Assist providers in bone marrow biopsies
