Requirements
- 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience
- current CPR/BLS card
- basic computer skills are required.
Nice To Haves
- Orthopedic experience is recommended but not required.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is recommended.
Responsibilities
- Assist the providers with patients in exam rooms
- Assist the providers with procedures
- Stocking and cleaning the exam rooms
- Scribe for the physician
- Enter vitals, history, and other medical information in EMR
- Provide patient care
- X-Ray Services
- Removal of sutures and/or stitches
- Perform data entry
- Obtain authorizations for surgeries
- Scheduling appointments.
- Other duties as assigned
