About The Position

Perform Occupational Therapy Evaluations and treatments. Proficient with use of current EMR Perform objective measurements, including but not limited to psychometric, isometric, and functional Perform and/or participate in functional capacity examinations and work conditioning. Perform Patient Care Conference (PCC) and maintain patient chart management. Direct supervision of patients in conditioning program via occupational therapy assistant and/or aide. Supervise patient scheduling. Supervise patient flow. Development and maintenance of patient education program. Oversee and interact with physicians and nurse practitioners. Provide motivation, education, guidance, and support to patients. Resolve and maintain quality of care issues. Treatment time and billing Patient scheduling and patient flow issues. Public relations. Patient and referral source dilemmas as they arise. Assist in clinical training as necessary including Aide competency. Schedule meetings as necessary with the Site Manager and administration to discuss progress and future goals.

Requirements

  • BS
  • Masters of Occupational Therapy
  • Active and current Occupational Therapy license
  • Orthopedic Rehabilitation
  • 2+ years experience with hand and elbow
