About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support in an outpatient/office setting, ensuring efficient patient care, accurate documentation, and compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program
• Medical Assistant Certificate
• BLS (AHA) required

Nice To Haves

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• EMR experience

Responsibilities

• Perform vitals, venipuncture, EKGs, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing
• Prepare patients and exam rooms; assist providers during procedures
• Support patient mobility and communicate care instructions
• Maintain logs, supplies, equipment, and a clean, compliant work environment
• Manage EMR documentation, orders, prescription refills, scheduling, referrals, and insurance verification
