About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Pharmacist I to provide safe, effective, and timely pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced inpatient hospital environment . The Pharmacist I is responsible for preparing and dispensing medications, monitoring patient drug therapies, and delivering clinical and pharmacological guidance to multidisciplinary healthcare teams. This role ensures compliance with institutional policies, regulatory requirements, and best clinical practices.

Requirements

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
• B.S. in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from a U.S.-accredited School of Pharmacy
• 0–2 years of experience as a licensed Pharmacist
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with infusion-related systems and electronic health records (EHRs)

Nice To Haves

• Inpatient pharmacy experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently
• Monitor and evaluate patient medication therapies for safety, effectiveness, and appropriateness
• Provide pharmacological guidance to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Address formulary and non-formulary medication inquiries in accordance with hospital policies
• Make dosing and therapeutic recommendations based on patient age, pharmacokinetics, and clinical literature
• Educate patients on medication usage, dosing schedules, side effects, and potential drug interactions
• Document clinical interventions and medication-related activities in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, safety, and quality standards
• Support daily pharmacy operations in a fast-paced inpatient setting
