Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved Medical Assistant training program or applicable experience as outlined in the job description
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NRCMA, or equivalent)
- Experience that meets senior‑level expectations (we are flexible and will consider candidates whose background aligns with the scope and leadership responsibilities of the role)
Responsibilities
- Delivering direct patient care in an ambulatory setting
- Assisting providers during exams and procedures
- Collecting and documenting patient information in the electronic medical record
- Administering approved medications and treatments per provider orders
- Supporting patient education and care coordination
- Acting as a liaison for scheduling specialty testing or consultations
- Participating in quality initiatives and process improvement efforts
- Supporting orientation, training, and ongoing development of Medical Assistants
- Serving as a preceptor and clinical role model
- Collaborating closely with providers, leadership, and administrative teams
