The Client Care Specialist 2 (CCS2) role at AHF is a hybrid position that contributes by presenting a friendly, helpful face to members seeking HIV testing and prevention services, STI screenings, and treatment in Wellness Clinics/Programs. A CCS2 provides courteous, confidential, and professional support to members within wellness programs. This role enhances AHF's reputation by embodying a commitment to excellence in patient care, patient retention, operational efficiency, and adaptability. With a versatile skill set, CCS2s are dedicated to seamlessly transitioning between clinical, administrative, and front office roles, contributing to a positive experience, fostering trust and loyalty. The CCS-2 will be a passionate advocate for AHF's top initiatives and must ensure that the AHF Core Values and Mission stay top of mind. AHF operates with a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders. The CCS-2 will work as part of a close-knit team to focus on comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

  • Valid Phlebotomy license or MA certificate
  • Driver’s License mandatory
  • Skills in venipuncture and sample collection

Responsibilities

  • Presenting a friendly, helpful face to members seeking HIV testing and prevention services, STI screenings, and treatment in Wellness Clinics/Programs
  • Providing courteous, confidential, and professional support to members within wellness programs
  • Embodying AHF's commitment to excellence in patient care, patient retention, operational efficiency, and adaptability
  • Seamlessly transitioning between clinical, administrative, and front office roles

  • Working as a part of a close-knit team to focus on comprehensive patient care
  • Collecting medical histories
  • Managing tests/screenings
  • Recording vitals
  • Addressing health complaints
  • Facilitating patient registration
  • Appointment management
  • Electronic chart creation
  • Proficiency in data documentation, including referrals and reports
  • Performing venipuncture and sample collection, including blood and other specimens
  • Preparing specimens for laboratory analysis
