About The Position

Seeking a dedicated and versatile Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative operations. This role involves direct patient interaction, clinical duties, front-office and back-office support, and patient education. The ideal candidate is team-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (excluding externship)
• Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
• Occupational Health experience strongly preferred
• Proven experience with phlebotomy/venipuncture
• Experience using EMR systems
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Front-office and back-office clinical experience
• Phlebotomy and specimen collection
• EKG administration
• Point-of-care (POC) testing
• Patient scheduling and coordination
• Patient rooming and vital sign collection
• BLS or CPR certification

Nice To Haves

• Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
• Occupational Health experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients during clinic visits
• Measure and record vital signs accurately
• Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture procedures
• Administer vaccines and assist with injections as directed
• Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
• Schedule patient appointments and answer incoming phone calls
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system
• Support front-office and back-office workflows as needed
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared for patient visits
• Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative staff to support daily operations
• Provide patient education and guidance as appropriate
