About The Position

A Medical assistant has accountability for providing care to patients in an ambulatory clinic setting. This will involve caring for patients with acute and chronic needs. A Medical Assistant will be responsible for communicating clearly with patients seeking care through different modalities including telephone and in-person interactions. Shift Details: Full-Time (40 hrs/wk - Monday to Friday - No weekends or holidays!) Effective Communication: Communicating clearly with patients seeking care through different modalities including telephone and in-person interactions. Team Collaboration: Working with cross functional teams to collaborate on patient care. Attention to detail and follow-through are key components in helping to provide the care that is needed. Requirements

• Medical Assistant Resident Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
• Medical Assistant Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers. Must be obtained prior to start date.
• Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program Or 1 year of Medical Assistant Experience Or current RN/LPN license
