About The Position

Our Specialty Medical Office is currently looking to hire an experienced and self-motivated Medical Scribe to join our team! We are ideally looking for a person with back office and scribing experience, excellent written and oral communication skills.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-year Medical Scribe experience
• Typing 60 WPM is required
• Experience with EMR (electronic medical records)
• Familiar with medical terminology

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred (not required)

Responsibilities

• The Medical Scribe documents the physician dictated patient history, including history of present illness, past medical and surgical history, medications and allergies.
• Note any physical examination findings and procedures as performed by the physician.
• Verify the results of laboratory and radiographic studies as dictated by the physician.
• Complete all documentation of the patient’s visit.
