Sign-On Bonus for External applicants or current CHW MA Apprentice Students only About the Practice Corewell Health care center Ada is made up of several departments including Primary Care, Midwifery, urgent care, lab, x-ray, ultrasound and physical therapy. These services are all conveniently housed under one building. The team culture of our primary care office is based around open communication, strong teamwork, and collaboration. About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Scope of work As a Medical Assistant with Corewell Health, you'll be a member of our clinical support team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of the best possible care. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 120 Days
• AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Required within 120 Days
• AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) Required within 120 Days
• NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA) Required within 120 Days
• NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) Required within 120 Days
• NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) Required within 120 Days

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of relevant experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting Preferred
