About The Position

At Clinical Associates, we make being healthy easier. We are seeking to add an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to our team in Pikesville located in the Woodholme Medical Building at 1838 Greene Tree Road! Our ideal candidates must be willing to work in a fast paced team environment and provide excellent care and service to our patients. Shift: 37.5 -40 hours per week Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 7:30am - 4:30pm Tuesdays 8:30am - 4:30pm and Thursdays 8:00am - 4:00pm The Medical Assistant will work closely with one of our healthcare providers in a multi-specialty setting. Full Time candidates with proven EHR experience will have hands-on responsibilities with patients in a healthcare setting that offers enrichment and an opportunity for growth. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing a positive, supportive, nurturing, yet professional experience whether triaging calls, rooming patients and assisting during an office visit, or providing follow-up to patients and/or families. The Medical Assistant will perform a variety of services up to and including:

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Current registration/certification with an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Internal Medicine preferred.
  • Candidates selected for an interview will be required to take a medical skill assessment.

Nice To Haves

  • Our ideal candidate will come to us registered Nationally as a Medical Assistant and experienced in Internal Medicine or Primary Care.

Responsibilities

  • Assistance during routine exams
  • Recording a patient history and logging vital signs.
  • Obtaining and tracking authorizations and test results
  • Entering lab / diagnostic test orders
  • Scheduling appointments, procedures, or imaging
  • Providing Patient Service Representative coverage when needed.
