Medical Assistant Instructor (Part-time)

Requirements
- Experience: At least three (3) years of full-time, hands-on experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Certification: A current, unencumbered CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) certification.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program (or equivalent verified training).
- Technical Skills: Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and video-conferencing tools (Zoom/Teams).
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in classroom teaching or clinical training is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Lab: Teach and supervise hands-on clinical skills like injections, EKGs, and phlebotomy.
- Classroom Instruction: Deliver engaging lesson plans and evaluate student work promptly.
- Student Coaching: Maintain office hours to advise students and help them overcome academic or behavioral challenges.
- Community Connection: Supervise externships and help arrange guest speakers from the El Paso medical community.
