Requirements

• One (1) year of healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units.

Nice To Haves

• Prior completion of state required X-ray safety course or begin course within 30 days of employment and complete no later than 90 days, if performed at medical office location.
• CMA or RMA

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital.
• Works under the guidance of physicians and advanced practitioners in the medical office setting.
• Specific duties and responsibilities assigned to the individual will be determined by the supervising physician(s), Clinical Leadership, and Scope of Practice after competency is established.
