About The Position

Position Purpose: We’re looking for an energetic and adaptable Medical Assistant to support our outpatient specialty offices. In this role, you’ll help create a smooth and welcoming experience for patients—escorting them to treatment rooms, gathering important health information, and documenting details in their charts with care. As a float, flexibility is key! You might work at different locations from day to day, and sometimes even split your time between sites. Reliable transportation is a must, as success in this role depends on your ability to get where you’re needed, when you’re needed. What you will do: Prepares exam and treatment rooms. Prepares patients for examination and treatment. Obtains pertinent history, enters into the medical record including chief complaint, medical and surgical history, allergies, medications, and appropriate review of systems, and takes/documents patient vital signs. Processes and files all lab/diagnostic test results, correspondence, clinical notes in patients’ chart after they have been reviewed by the physician. Coordinates patient flow in the office. Collaborates with receptionist to make certain that patients are seen in a timely and efficient manner. Assists front office personnel by answering the telephone, scheduling patient appointments, and other tasks as needed. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
