Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; advanced certifications in healthcare technology are a plus.
  • Maintain current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Experience in healthcare roles with a focus on digital tools and data integration is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced, tech-driven environments and multitask effectively.
  • Commitment to innovative preventive healthcare practices and collaborative team dynamics.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish enhances community impact.
  • Phlebotomy skills and a passion for continuous learning and applying new healthcare techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Engage warmly with patients using digital tools to collect medical information and measure vital signs with precision.
  • Accurately document patient history and test results in electronic medical records.
  • Innovate in the collection of specimens to ensure efficient logging and preparation for testing.
  • Support physicians by using advanced medical instruments and performing procedures like phlebotomy and medication administration.
  • Maintain and prepare treatment rooms to ensure they are clean and ready for use.
  • Implement effective sterilization techniques for instruments and manage biohazard waste responsibly.
  • Offer virtual consultations to discuss test results and health concerns with patients.
  • Ensure precise labeling and tracking of specimens for laboratory processing.
  • Champion safety standards by participating in performance improvement programs and adhering to OSHA compliance.
  • Utilize technology to manage supply inventories and check for expired items.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
