We have multiple new providers who have joined our team to expand our service line and reach more patients across Cooley Dickinson Medical Group. Our specialty office provides services for patients with a wide variety of endocrine and metabolic disorders, including: - Addison Disease - Adrenal diseases - Diabetes - Endocrine disorders - Lipid disorders - Low testosterone - Osteoporosis - Thyroid diseases including thyroid cancer The practice is currently housed in Cooley Dickinson's multispecialty medical facility located at 22 Atwood Drive in Northampton, MA. We are seeking a full-time 40-hour Medical Assistant to support the practice onsite, Monday through- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. As true partners to our nurses and providers, our Medical Assistants get the opportunity to work autonomously to the top of their education/certification while also functioning as part of the collaborative team. Our Medical Assistants rotate between our team of providers. Job Summary The role supports healthcare teams by assisting with both clinical and non-clinical patient services under the direction of healthcare providers. Key responsibilities include taking vital signs, documenting patient information, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow. This role involves direct interaction with patients to ensure their comfort and address concerns, as well as collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners, and nursing staff to facilitate efficient care.
