About The Position

Arthritis Knee Pain Centers is seeking a motivated Medical Assistant specializing in Durable Medical Equipment (DME). In this role, the assistant will be responsible for fitting custom knee braces and educating patients to ensure optimal clinical outcomes, focusing on providing a comfortable and safe patient experience. Arthritis Knee Pain Centers is dedicated to delivering exceptional, non-surgical, non-opioid, pain-relieving therapy for chronic knee osteoarthritis. Requirements

  • Medical assistant certification

Responsibilities

  • Review patient charts to prepare for delivery of braces and set daily goals.
  • Ensure inventory is accurately counted and recorded daily.
  • Participate in routing patients through the practice.
  • Measure and fit prescribed braces.
  • Perform adjustments/re-fittings as necessary.
  • Ensure patient bracing data is accurately recorded.
