The Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in providing clinical and administrative support to our healthcare providers, ensuring the delivery of excellent care to our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a community liaison between key stakeholders (nursing, sales, wellness, and leadership)
  • Be attentive to the facility's needs and communicate back to the team.
  • Coordinate care between (specialists, therapy, home health, and other ancillary services)
  • Assist with front desk duties, including appointment management, scheduling, and other related duties.
  • Monthly outreach with residents/families to assess needs and coordinate care consistent with the provider’s care plan.
  • Connect patients with local/regional social support services.
  • Greet each patient, family member, and staff member with a smile.
  • Take vital signs, room patients (if in a clinic), and help prepare them for their visit.
  • Coordinate after-visit coordination
  • Complete all diagnostic testing
  • Manage and complete all quality assurance monitoring.
