About The Position

The Medical Assistant provides and coordinates medical care in an outpatient setting following a patient-centered, primary care model including the following tasks: Completes patient rooming process. Completes patient testing and procedures following provider orders/standing orders. Performs desktop management and computer tasks. Performs immunizations and injections. Performs general clinical operation duties. Precepts new employees and coaches MA Apprentices. Orders supplies, medications, and vaccines. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant education program
  • Medical Assistant-Certified License from the WA State Department of Health (or be eligible to obtain one) - licensing requirements can be viewed at Apply for a License | Washington State Department of Health

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of Medical Assisting experience
  • Experience in an outpatient clinic serving all ages, including providing immunizations
  • A strong interest in working with a diverse patient population
  • Qualified candidates with applicable experience or similar qualifications are encouraged to apply!
