Overview We are recruiting for a Behavioral Health Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team in one of our state of the art health centers. Experienced Medical Assistants and/or new Medical Assistant graduates are welcomed! The Behavioral Health Medical Assistant will function as a member of the behavioral health department and will assist in identifying gaps in care. The Behavioral Health Medical Assistant works primarily with the Psychiatric team, collaborating specifically with patient’s primary care provider, behavioral health provider, and department case manager, in order to assist with any medication management tasks. The Behavioral Health Medical Assistant is responsible for coordinating and supporting Behavioral Health and Medical services at all UHC sites, by conducting coordination in care activities, providing direct patient care, and initiating any referrals internally or externally.
