Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and clinical documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively with patients and multidisciplinary teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in behavioral health or primary care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist behavioral health providers with patient screenings, assessments, and documentation of medical and psychosocial histories.
  • Prepare examination and treatment rooms; support intake procedures including vital signs and relevant data collection.
  • Escort patients to exam rooms and facilitate smooth intake processes.
  • Coordinate appointments, referrals, and follow-ups for patients requiring ongoing behavioral health services.
  • Medication prior authorizations, referrals, answering BH phone line
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR), ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
  • Stay current with CPR and basic first aid certifications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
